How do I use 460MMSC in my application?
When you’re connecting a Modbus RTU to a Siemens S7 PLC Gateway firstly, allocate two memory blocks in your Siemens S7 PLC. One block is for a user-defined set of Output addresses that send data to your Modbus RTU Slaves. The other block is for Input-only data that receives data from your Modbus RTU Slaves. It’s really that simple. If you need to modify your data as it transfers between protocols, it’s easy to do so. You can apply up to 3 mathematical functions to each data mapping. For example, you can add 4 to a value, multiply by 4, and divide by 10 with ease.
