The Smart Way To Move EtherNet/IP Adapter Data To a Modbus TCP Controller
The 460ECMS moves data between up to 32 EtherNet/IP Adapters and a Modbus TCP/IP Client. Modbus is still the catch all protocol. It’s dirt simple and been around forever which means there is huge base of users and legacy systems supporting Modbus. With the 460ECMS you now have a great tool to integrate newer EtherNet/IP devices into these systems.
With the 460ECMS you have a device that you can quickly deploy and easily configure to access and integrate these EtherNet/IP devices into your Modbus TCP network.
How Does the 460ECMS Work?
Up to 496 bytes of Ethernet/IP data can be mapped in each direction from up to 32 devices. Once the data is manually entered for each EtherNet/IP connection the data is automatically mapped by the gateway to Modbus TCP/IP.
It really is that simple.
Why Use Real Time Automation as a Gateway Supplier?
The 460ECMS provides an option to connect EtherNet/IP Adapter devices to your Modbus TCP/IP network. While there are certainly a number of other companies offering stand alone gateways, there is no one who provides the level of support and service that you receive from RTA.
When you call, a live person answers the phone. When you talk with sales, you will get honest answers and recommendations even if that means recommending someone else’s solution. When you get support, it is from an engineer who had a hand in the product’s development, and support doesn’t require a ticket or 24 hour wait. We are unashamed of the fact that we are a smaller company because that means you mean a lot more to us.

What our Customers are Saying
“I challenged a customer to get it working by the time I got back from his break room with a Coke and he indeed had it working when I got back. He then said, "It’s worth twice the price!"”
Eric P. / Kendall Electric
“Everything seems to be working as we imagined. Thanks for the great response time. I did not see any way to save the configuration other than screen shots, but the configuration did not get lost in the update. Thanks again, and you were a pleasure to work with.”
