Connect an EtherNet/IP Scanner Device to a BACnet MS/TP Manager
The 460ESBMS moves data between a BACnet MS/TP Manager device and an EtherNet/IP Client. It’s the perfect tool to tie your EtherNet/IP Scanner to your BACnet MS/TP Building Automation System. Integrate BACnet MS/TP controllers into your EtherNet/IP applications.
How Do I Use the 460ESBMS in My Application?
Up to 480 bytes of data from your EtherNet/IP Scanner will be mapped into your BACnet MS/TP Manager as BACnet MS/TP data. When writing from your BACnet MS/TP to your EtherNet/IP Scanner, BACnet MS/TP data will be mapped to your EtherNet/IP Scanners as EtherNet/IP data. Up to 10 Scanners can listen, while only one can write back to your BACnet MS/TP Manager.
It’s really that simple. Need to modify your data as it passes from one protocol to the other? No problem. Each data mapping you apply can be modified with up to 3 mathematic functions. Add 4 to a value, multiply by 4 and divide by 10 with ease.
Why Use Real Time Automation as a Gateway Supplier?
While there are certainly other companies offering protocol gateways, there is no one who provides the level of support and service that you receive from RTA.
When you call, a live person answers the phone. When you talk with sales, you will get honest answers and recommendations. When you get support, it is from an engineer who had a hand in the product’s development, and support doesn’t require a ticket or 24-hour wait.

What our Customers are Saying
“I challenged a customer to get it working by the time I got back from his break room with a Coke and he indeed had it working when I got back. He then said, "It’s worth twice the price!"”
Eric P. / Kendall Electric
“Everything seems to be working as we imagined. Thanks for the great response time. I did not see any way to save the configuration other than screen shots, but the configuration did not get lost in the update. Thanks again, and you were a pleasure to work with.”
Kevin L. / Extol, Inc.
